AXIS Contemporary Art and the Canadian Friends of Scotland invite you spend an evening surrounded by the culture, art and flavor of Scotland on Thursday, April 7th from 5 – 9pm at Art Central. The always lively First Thursday event will get painted with a tartan brush for this special evening of Scottish music and art.

AXIS Contemporary Art will feature an exhibition of fine art prints curated by the gallery's Rob Mabee, and John Meckechnie, Director of Glasgow Print Studio.

Glasgow Print Studio was founded in 1972 as an artist led initiative providing facilities and workshop space to artists using fine art printmaking. Now, as an internationally acclaimed centre of excellence in fine art printmaking, Glasgow Print Studio promotes contemporary and innovative printmaking through supporting artists, exhibitions, learning and conservation.
